• He is a member of Markazi Majlis-e-Shoora

• He has a M.A. in English literature from Bihar University.

• He had been a Lecturer in English for two years in C. Abdul Hakeem College in Vellore, afterwards business.

•  He has served as Local President of the Jamaat-e-Islami in Vaniyambadi, District Arcot and as  a Zonal President of the
   Jamaat in Tamil Nadu from 1977 to 1990 (13years).

• Presently he  is a  Responsibility  Member Central  Advisory Council, Zonal Advisory Council  and Representative Council of
  the Jamaat.

• He is also the Secretary of the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind.

• He is also the Editor of “Radiance Views Weekly”
